It was expected to be a low scoring, defensive battle. Owatonna, coming off a victory over then, league leading Red Wing, came to Austin with confidence and big expectations. They left dejected and wondering what happened. Austin came to play and totally controlled the game hitting 13 -3’s and defensively shutting down Owatonna. Owatonna’s fans tried to cheer their team on, but a full house of excited Austin fans had more to cheer about and easily kept the momentum on their side.
Austin has been playing their best ball of the season and our now headed into the post season. Austin is the #3 seed and will host Kasson-Mantorville the 6th seed on Wednesday night at 7pm. (note the time)
