27 Jan

Austin made it a clean sweep Monday night beating Rochester Mayo 64-58 in front of huge hometown crowd.  Austin had beaten Mayo 64-50 earlier this season on Dec. 5th.  Austin defense again caused the Spartans fits as they had numerous turnovers. The Packers have now won 3 games in a row and 4 of their last 5.  Austin has  a 10-9 overall record and are 9-6 in the Big 9.

The Austin Seniors came to play and were led by a stellar performance from Gach Gach who had two big 3 pointers late in the game for a total of 23 points.  Levi Vierkandt had 13 points and hit several key shots late in the game and put down his first career dunk earlier in the game.
