The Packers began the 2014-2015 season with a victory Tuesday night over Winona 59-44 . The Packers started a new line up this year, led by senior Gach Gach. The other starters included seniors Noah Brehmer, Levi Vierkandt and Nik Gasner. Zach Coffey a junior also started the game for the Pack. Dylan Gasner a junior and a pair of sophomores, Kyle Oberbroeckling and Joe Kroymann also saw significant playing time coming off the bench. The Packers were led in scoring by Gach Gach. The scoring column was fairly balanced with Gach Gach 17, Zach Coffey 13, Levi Vierkandt 8, Nik Gasner 8, Dylan Gasner 7, and Noah Brehmer 6. See the Packer Highlights. Pancakes with the Packers on Saturday
16 NovThe boys basketball team is hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, November 22nd at the Austin Eagles Club from 8 am to 10:30 am. The team is selling tickets for $6, you can also buy your ticket at the door. The Eagles Club in Austin is located at 107 11th Street NE.
The boys started practice last week and competed at a scrimmage at Tri-City United over the weekend. The boys played well against Marshall Senior, Prior Lake and Tri-City.
Plan to come to the Pancake Breakfast Saturday and meet this year’s team and coaches! The first game of season will be the home game vs. Winona. on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
