The Packers beat the Albert Lea Tigers 78-63 Friday night in Packer gym. The Tigers were within 5 in the first half, but the Packers held a double digit lead most of the night and the game never felt like it was in Jeopardy.
Austin had 10 different players score in the game led by Duoth and Both Gach who had 12 and 11. Austin hit multiple threes against the Tiger zone. The Packer outside shooting has been more consistent the last few games which has helped Austin put up more points recently.
Tuesday the Packers will face Owatonna at home in an important conference game. Austin currently sits in 3rd place in the Big 9 with their only conference losses coming to Red Wing and John Marshall. Owatonna is 6-4 in the conference and 8-5 overall.
