9 Jan

The Austin Packers, fresh off an 18-point win over Rochester Mayo Friday night, came back for a make-up game Saturday night in Red Wing. The game had been scheduled for Dec. 11 but was snowed out.

Cold shooting plagued the Packers in this contest, as they were down 28-25 at the half. The second half was a little colder, as the Pack managed just 19 points and lost 57-44.

Here are the highlights:

Joe Aase had 14 points for the Packers, Tom Aase 9, Zach Wessels 8, Zach Fadness 5, Matt Duren 5, Jay Ettinger 2 and Max Coffey 1.

The Packers return to action Tuesday night, taking the road to play at Mankato East.
