Packer Chairs Going Fast

26 Nov

I don’t know how limited the “limited quantity” of Packer stadium chairs is, but they were going fast yesterday at the Austin Girls debut against Hill Murray. In yesterday’s post we had a graphic of the logo and a picture of a generic version of the chair. Below is an actual photo of one of the several chairs sold and put to good use yesterday.

These make great Christmas presents, especially for grandparents who already have had 70 years or so to buy anything else they really need.

You may want to get in touch with Kelly Lady (KellyL@austinutilities.com or 433-9771) or Mary Svoboda (svoboda.mary@mayo.edu or 437-8227) soon to reserve your chair…or to urge them to order some more.

Assembling the Blogging Team

20 Nov

Just as the Packers depend on teamwork for success, we will need a team of bloggers to keep this site up to date and to keep improving it.

If you’re reading this page, you’re qualified to be part of the blogging team. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

To learn about blogging and contribute in this way to the Fast Break Club’s success, leave a comment below, or send an email to laase@charter.net. And if you haven’t yet joined the Fast Break Club, send an email to the same address.

When we have a core group of volunteers, we will schedule a meeting for training (Blogging 101) and to discuss features we can add to this site to make it most useful and interesting to the Austin basketball community.

Go Packers!
